Senior Account Executive - New York Metro/East Coast
Pheedo, the leading provider of RSS advertising solutions is currently looking to fill several Sales and Account Management roles in its East coast office.
Positions will be located in the New York metro area, with consideration given to remote locations in Boston and Atlanta. This position reports directly to the VP of Sales, Eastern Region.
Location: New York City (with possible remote opportunities in Atlanta and Boston)
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop business relationships with advertisers and agencies within specific sales territory.
- Evangelize and educate customers on RSS advertising and Pheedo's RSS and content advertising solutions.
- Present Pheedo's solutions in-person and via web conferences to a wide range of decision makers
- Manage the day-to-day client relationships of multiple advertiser and agency accounts; respond to RFPs; create reports; problem solve.
- Proactively develop new business opportunities.
- Work closely with Client Services team to build and enhance strategic advertising programs leveraging all of Pheedo's products and solutions.
- Meet established revenue quotas.
- Extend Pheedo brand by active participation in industry organizations, networking, etc.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in selling online media to both advertisers and agencies
- Familiarity with RSS and blogs
- Established relationships with decision makers at East coast agencies
- Excellent presentation skills, and the ability to create and communicate written proposals
- Demonstrated ability to foster and develop relationships with decision makers at various levels within an organization
- Strong organizational and time management skills; proven ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
- A self-starter who is detail-oriented and has the ability to thrive in a start-up environment
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed revenue goals
- Bachelors degree

- Keep close track of a number of publishers, moving each forward on the publisher life-cycle to engage deeply with the Pheedo network
- Educate the ad sales team on new and existing publishers and provide the necessary materials to help the team properly position each publisher with advertisers
- Respond to queries from publishers
- Identify strategies for improving a publisher's revenue with the help of our internal Client Services team
- Interface with all departments of the company to secure the necessary resources to ensure that each publisher is retained
- Proactively contact publishers to provide them with updates on new product releases or to learn how Pheedo can help them with their evolving content syndication strategies
- Work collaboratively with Sales Team on proposals to clients, leveraging your experience gained from working with the publishers
- Support our marketing communications plan and provide ideas and content for customer retention programs, product collateral, presentations, demonstrations, and case studies
Requirements
- 4+ years online marketing experience - online media relations is a plus

Account Manager
The Account Manager is responsible for providing day-to-day support and service to Pheedo's roster of advertiser and agency clients. Working closely with the sales and publisher services teams, the Account Manager understands the clients' expectations and ensures that they are exceeded.

Responsibilities
Pre-Sale:
- Assist VP of Sales and VP of Marketing in creating and executing lead-generation programs to create qualified sales leads.
- Work closely with sales team to create sales proposals and presentations. This includes coordinating with media team on inventory recommendations, creating sample ads and screenshots to support recommendations
Campaign Management:
- Manage the execution of advertiser's campaigns with detailed attention to client expectations and deadlines, from execution to completion. This includes, but is not limited to: flighting campaign, assembling client creative assets; setting and managing the speed and frequency of delivery; monitoring and adjusting campaigns for enhanced performance; setup and manage campaign tracking using 3rd party solutions such as DART, Atlas, etc.
- Communicate regularly with the sales team regarding the status of active campaigns
- Monitor and troubleshoot active campaigns. Effectively communicate status and issues in a timely manner.
Account Management:
- Create and analyze post-campaign reports for clients.
- Assist in the development of comprehensive strategy recommendations based on campaign results and conclusions.
- Perform quality assurance of campaign architecture, including but not limited to tracking codes, keyword and creative integrity.
- Continue to learn and apply RSS marketing strategies to optimize campaigns and improve overall performance.
- * Perform ad-hoc projects and assignments as warranted.

- 2+ years of experience in a client and/or sales support role at an interactive ad network, ad agency or service provider.
- General understanding of the SEM and Ad Network industry, including major participants, terminology and nomenclature and supporting technologies.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and manage time.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with both internal and external clients and teams
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, Power Point, Snag-it and Photoshop
